CISA Innovation Center in Faenza is home to engineering, product management, marketing, purchasing and technical support experts who work on innovative solutions combining mechanical security with electronic mobile and interconnected technologies. With a pioneering, forward-thinking vision, the company has embarked on a process of technological innovation with the parent company Allegion, to make access control using smartphones and online resources more seamless and integrate it with home automation systems.

Thanks to its latest solutions which merge mechanics and electronics, CISA is able to meet the new security needs demanded by our increasingly mobile personal and professional lives.
The company is also home to the only accredited company laboratory in the Italian locksmith sector. Originally established in 1990 to test CISA products, the EMEA Testing Lab was awarded European Accreditation (no. 1495L) in December 2014, making it a certification body for the development of mechanical and electronic products. Completely refurbished in 2020, the laboratories are used to carry out testing mainly for Allegion but also for third-party companies to whom CISA guarantees complete impartiality and confidentiality.
