CISA double bitted key mortice locks offer protection against forced entry and key tampering, they are also available in the electric version to manage entering and exiting.
Protection against forced entry.
The deadbolt driving teeth have been designed to break in the event of attempted forced entry, stopping the lock from being opened.
The blocking device on the tang is heat treated and rounded to slow down any attempts at drilling.
The lever area is protected by a hardened steel plate for increased drill resistance.
Resistance to tampering. CISA double bitted keys have a variable bitting system which makes it extremely difficult to replicate the key differs.
Greater security for doors and railings which are not locked.
Dead-locking latch bolt: when the door is locked, the withdrawal of the deadbolt blocks the latch bolt (electric version for apartment building doors).
Managing flow through accesses.
The lock can be blocked in the "always open" position by the key (hold open function on the electric version).
Easy to install.
Reversible and adjustable latch bolt to ensure ideal coupling with the strike plate.
Complete interchangeability with the mechanical and electric versions.
